The Rosewood Corp. announced on Tuesday that Sinead Clifford Soesbe, who previously worked in the company's legal department, will become its next senior vice president and general counsel.

Soesbe replaces C. Jedson Nau, who will be scaling back his role within the company. In her new role, Soesbe is responsible for all legal aspects of the business, including legal expertise on company strategies and their implementation. Nau's new role will be senior vice president and senior counsel. Nau has worked at Rosewood for 35 years and has been the company's senior vice president and general counsel for the past 19 years.

Soesbe did not have a comment on her promotion.

Soesbe joined Rosewood in June as a senior associate general counsel and vice president. Before joining Rosewood, she worked as senior counsel at Vistra Energy, where she worked for nine years. She has also worked as an associate for Locke Lord. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2000.

“Sinead is an outstanding attorney with significant corporate experience,” said Rosewood's president and CEO John Dziminski said in the press release. “Since joining Rosewood last year, she has demonstrated leadership and expertise to work seamlessly with our wide range of corporate interests.”

Rosewood is a family-owned company based in Dallas with several operations and investments in real estate.
