Steve Reynolds, the general counsel of Philadelphia-based food service provider Aramark, will be retiring, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

According to the filing, he is to be replaced by the company's associate general counsel, Lauren Harrington. Harrington currently serves as the vice president and associate general counsel, a role she has held at Aramark since 2012. Prior to that, she worked with Aramark as the assistant general counsel. Before joining Aramark, she worked as an associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr, according to the filing.

Reynolds and Harrington will go through a transition period until April 1.

A spokesperson for the company did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Reynolds has worked as the executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Aramark since 2012. Prior to that, he served as the senior vice president and general counsel of Alcatel-Lucent and the vice president of litigation at Aventis. He also was a partner at Gibbons P.C. Reynolds graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 1983.

His departure, according to a January SEC filing, comes a month after the company's chief accounting officer and controller, Brian P. Pressler, announced his resignation to take a similar job at a different company. The filing marks Friday's date as Pressler's last day on the job with Stephen Bramlage, executive vice president and chief financial officer, assuming the role of principal accounting officer.
