Chicago White Sox fans got some exciting news in 2016: Their team’s home field was getting a new name.

The home of South Side Chicago’s favorite team became Guaranteed Rate Field when residential mortgage company Guaranteed Rate purchased the naming rights to what was then called U.S. Cellular Field. Neil Hayes, the company’s top lawyer, led the legal efforts to rename the stadium, only a few months into his time at Guaranteed Rate.
