Scottish energy technology company Faraday Grid Ltd. has lured veteran in-house leader Nathan Fagre away from his perch overseeing Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc.’s legal department.

Faraday named Fagre as its general counsel Thursday as the Edinburgh-based firm pushes ahead with its global expansion efforts. His appointment follows Faraday’s hiring of a chief financial officer in April and its entrance into the U.S. in late March with the opening of one of its “innovation centers” in Washington, D.C.
