An analysis of 16 leadership competencies among legal executives found in-house counsel score above average on overall leadership effectiveness, but below average on employee engagement. The same research found that the gap between leadership effectiveness and employee engagement skills for legal leaders was wider than for leaders in other disciplines.Leadership Graphic
