Consolidated Edison Company of New York Inc. denied all claims that it retaliated against a former in-house attorney who brought up age and gender discrimination claims in a recent filing.

In June, former in-house attorney Sharon Goldzweig, 65, who served as associate general counsel at the company from 1999 to 2019 working on labor and employment issues, filed suit against the energy company in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Goldzweig claims her former manager, Chris D'Angelo, criticized her and accused her of withholding information from him.
