If the legal profession keeps up with its current sluggish pace in diversity and inclusion efforts, there will not be gender parity for another 38 years or racial parity for another 68 years, Diversity Lab CEO Caren Ulrich Stacy said Tuesday.

Right now, only 21% of partners at Am Law 200 firms are women, 9% are minorities, and only 2% of partners belong to the LGBTQ+ community, Stacey said during a fireside chat on diversity and inclusion, as part of the Women Influence & Power in Law Conference.
