Traditional resume format has not changed in decades, and that’s OK. Attorneys are not digital animators or marketing gurus who are expected to get creative with resume styles and content. But you can, and in my opinion should, up your game with one simple tip: use hyperlinks.

For starters, link to your LinkedIn profile in the basic information section at the top of a resume that includes phone number and email address. That’s fairly standard now.
