The pandemic has expanded the role of in-house leaders, requiring them to consider the health risks of bringing employees back to the workplace and the heightened cybersecurity risks of having a remote workforce, a new report published by FTI Consulting said.

According to “The General Counsel Report 2021: Rising to Today’s Challenges and Building Resilience for the Future” published by FTI Consulting’s technology arm and software company Relativity, 84% of general counsel said they have been given the title of chief health officer during the pandemic.
