Amazon.com Inc.’s lead in-house lawyer for counterfeit crimes and the general counsel for YETI are speaking out about a joint lawsuit that the two companies filed against a California couple accused of importing and selling fake YETI products.

“YETI works aggressively to protect our consumers, our intellectual property rights, and our brand from the actions of counterfeiters and those who facilitate the importation and sale of counterfeit goods,” stated YETI general counsel Bryan Barksdale.
