The New York-based e-discovery service Epiq announced on Tuesday the launch of a staffing service that will farm out attorneys to supplement and fill gaps in corporate legal departments.

Epiq Counsel lawyers are alumni from top law firms and Fortune 1000 in-house legal departments and can work on a variety of matters, the company said. Epiq declined to give specifics about where its attorneys worked before.
