The trend of general counsel taking on bigger roles and more responsibility continues with the recent promotion of Xerox Holdings Corp. in-house leader Louie Pastor. 

Pastor has shed his GC title to become chief legal officer and chief corporate development officer. In his newly expanded role, Pastor will continue to oversee Xerox’s legal team while also leading the firm’s nascent corporate development group.
