Global Leaders in Law and Morrison & Foerster have partnered to develop "Leading with Influence," a new global research study, aimed at helping you – our global GC community – lead and thrive as you juggle increasingly complex roles, in uncertain times. For the study, they collaborated with leadership experts from Lazarus & Maverick, a global leadership development and high-performance executive coaching consultancy, to conduct research that shines a light on the game-changing competencies required for the GC of the future.

Read the report to understand why nearly 90% of GCs surveyed identified an ability to be flexible and evolve in changing work environments as absolutely paramount to their success. This was selected as one of the top-six traits among a list of 16 core behavioral competencies GCs believe will be critical to their future success.

The report will also give you access to tools that allow you to assess and benchmark your current behavior, cultivate leadership skills, and apply best practices to increase your influence within your own organizations and beyond the legal department. It also contains insights on:

|
  • The capabilities of the general counsel of the future versus their current state;
  • Key attitudes and aptitudes, including both strengths and blind spots; and
  • A guide for adapting when interfacing with other roles within the C-Suite.

The insights, tips, and self-evaluation sessions contained in the report can be used by GCs to evaluate their own mastery across the game-changing competencies, skills, and traits, to help inform their own roles and factors for success, now and in the future.
