During pre-COVID times, Gregg McConnell, legal operations leader at global agricultural firm Corteva Agriscience Inc., frequently dealt with pushback from “strong players” at the company who weren’t interested in using new technology.

“The environment was very much legal ops pushing [against] the legal team,” McConnell said.  Speaking on a panel titled, “A Change Would Do You Good: Inspiring Adoption for Legal Ops Leaders” at the Legalweek(year) conference, he said the pandemic transformed the entire legal ops work environment—and often, for the better.
