Following months of speculation and uncertainty, it turns out that the COVID-19 pandemic and corporate austerity measures didn’t drag down in-house counsel pay nearly as much as many had feared. 

In fact, corporate counsel in a variety of positions across a wide swath of industries saw their salaries increase by an average of 3.5% last year, a relatively small decrease from the 4.4% average rise in 2019.
