In-house counsel are struggling with capturing and retaining data from newer mediums for e-discovery, and the pandemic has only accelerated the need to obtain such data, according to a report by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and software platform PageFreezer.

Many in-house counsel think they are alone in struggling to collect electronically stored information from these newer mediums, said Peter Callaghan, chief revenue officer of Vancouver-based PageFreezer, an e-discovery archiving software platform. However, the report shows quite the opposite.
