A long-time in-house lawyer at Boston Scientific Corp. has stepped up to lead the global medical device maker’s legal department 

After a stint as interim general counsel, Vance Brown has officially taken over as GC, corporate secretary and senior vice president. He’s worked at Boston Scientific for more than 20 years and succeeds Desiree Ralls-Morrison, who began her new job as the top lawyer for Chicago-based McDonald’s Corp. in late March.
