The company that used to run the for-profit college DeVry University has brought in a new general counsel as it continues to face arbitration for fraud related to its advertising practices.

Adtalem Global Education named Douglas Beck as its new general counsel Monday, to lead the organization’s 20-person legal department. Beck, who most recently served as the top lawyer of Hub Group Inc., replaces Chaka Patterson, who left the company in April.
