Spotify remixed its legal department over the past two years by folding the in-house legal team into a global affairs unit, which also includes business and government affairs, communications and public relations, trust and safety, and strategy and operations. 

The change, Spotify general counsel Eve Konstan said, “has been transformational for the legal department and our global unit” and led to a more effective way for the audio streaming and media service provider to evaluate risk while collaborating with other branches of the company.
