As in-house leaders finally get an opportunity to take a moment and begin to reflect on all that’s transpired over the past year, some are realizing that the COVID-19 pandemic, while generally terrible, had a few silver linings. 

General counsels have observed, for instance, that the widespread adoption of remote working has helped to increase diversity in some legal departments by allowing companies to ditch region-specific job requirements, which tends to lead to larger and more diverse candidate pools.
