An “eye-watering” 71% of respondents to a recent survey of Canadian in-house counsel reported an increase in work-related stress and anxiety over the past year.

The survey, conducted by the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association and Mondaq, shows 61% of chief legal officers and general counsel reported higher levels of stress and anxiety, with the increase amplified in less senior roles: up to 71% in legal counsel and more than 80% in director of legal services/legal manager.
