Following her six-year stint at the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL, general counsel Cassie McBride joined Silicon Valley's own San Jose Sharks as the professional hockey team's new GC. McBride's post-pandemic transition comes at an exciting time in her personal life, which included a cross-country move with her newborn child.
After settling in with the Sharks, McBride sat down to talk shop with Corporate Counsel. She shared her perspective on diversity in the profession, remote work and how both intersect to bring new opportunities for working mothers in the legal space.
