Walmart Inc. has recruited a former Big Law attorney with extensive experience in the health law arena to serve as lead counsel for the retail giant's expanding health care business.
Julie Kass now holds the reins of the legal team for Walmart's health centers and telehealth while reporting to health and wellness legal general counsel Jeanine Jiganti. Kass succeeds Richard Hosley, who has stepped up to oversee compliance matters for Walmart's nascent health care arm.
