New York lawyer Jeremy I. Bohrer has filed to dismiss a lawsuit brought against him and his practice by Cognizant Technology Solutions, which alleged that Bohrer fraudulently inflated his legal bills while he was representing the plaintiff company’s former legal chief.

The suit, filed by IT consultancy Cognizant, seeks $20 million and stems from what Cognizant alleges were fraudulent billing practices, after the company was contractually obligated to pay Bohrer for representing former Cognizant CLO Steven Schwartz.
