Corporate attorneys are burned out—and addressing the problem isn’t as easy as cutting their workload, according to a new survey by Gartner.

The consulting company, which announced its survey Thursday, asked 202 corporate attorneys in July a set of questions measuring exhaustion. Respondents stated whether they were psychologically distressed, interested in leaving their roles, or frequently delayed or killed projects they were involved in.
