Ed-Tech Giant Taps Seattle General Counsel as It Chases North American Growth

India's BYJU'S, the world's most valuable educational technology company, this month announced its newest general counsel, Seattle-based Aaron Kornblum, as it accelerates its North American expansion.

Courtesy photo Kornblum joined BYJU'S in March as head of its FutureSchool, an online platform that teaches coding and math to students 6 through 18, though BYJU did not announce the appointment until Oct. 12. Kornblum previously was general counsel at video game companies Improbable and Bungie.
The move comes as BYJU'S co-founder Byju Raveendran targets the United States to rapidly expand his company, which already was worth $18 billion as of June. He told Forbes this month that he wants to reach $1 billion in U.S. revenue within three years.
