Tidwell is based in the Washington, D.C., area, and started at the company in August, Prosus spokeswoman Jill Williams confirmed.

The same month, Prosus acquired online learning platform Stack Overflow for $1.8 billion as part of the company's effort to add to a growing portfolio of education technology. In 2020, Prosus invested in online learning platform Brainly as well as online learning marketplace Udemy, which offers a range of online courses.
