Grocery Company SpartanNash Names New Legal Chief After Amazon Deal
The company lured Ileana McAlary away from her associate GC role at shoemaker Wolverine World Wide Inc.

Food distributor and
grocery retailer SpartanNash has found an in-house leader to succeed the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based company's longtime chief legal officer.
SpartanNash lured Ileana McAlary away from shoemaker Wolverine World Wide Inc., where she served as associate general counsel. McAlary will begin her new job on Nov. 15 as SpartanNash's legal chief, corporate secretary and senior vice president.
She succeeds Kathleen Mahoney, who is retiring after about 17 years with SpartanNash and its predecessor, Nash Finch Co.
