E-discovery and information governance software provider Exterro on Friday announced it has hired prominent discovery expert and technologist Jenny Hamilton as its first general counsel—a move the company says continues its momentum as it “advances towards a potential future IPO.”

The Portland, Oregon-based company—whose governance, risk management and compliance software targets Global 2000 and Am Law 200 organizations—said Hamilton will oversee HR and legal while contributing her industry expertise to the sales and engineering teams.
