More than a decade and one global pandemic later, the tables have turned. Workers are leaving their jobs in record numbers—pointing to burnout, lack of flexibility, child care struggles and low pay.

But Green, now senior director and head of compliance at United Kingdom-based semiconductor company Arm, said workers' values have shifted in another way over the past decade.
