Miami of Ohio has hired its new general counsel away from the University of Louisville.
The prestigious liberal arts school in Oxford, Ohio, announced the appointment of Amy Shoemaker Tuesday. She's been with the University of Louisville for 15 years, serving most recently as deputy university counsel and associate athletic director.
