The number of legal chiefs overseeing ESG and corporate social responsibility has increased, but many legal chiefs still don't have oversight but think they should, a recent report issued by the Association of Corporate Counsel shows.
According to the 2022 Chief Legal Officers' Survey, 24% of legal chiefs are now more involved in handling ESG and CSR, up from 15% in 2020, when it started becoming more common in the CLO portfolio.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
