Rising extremism, social and political issues and disagreements over COVID-19 safety policies topped the list of threat-related concerns for legal, compliance and security leaders for U.S. companies heading into 2022, according to a new study. 

The Ontic Center for Protective Intelligence’s latest annual report showed that 88% of the 359 respondents said their companies were experiencing a “dramatic increase in physical threat activity” at the beginning of the year. The finding should be of significant concern to general counsel.
