Ethisphere Institute’s latest roundup of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” showed that fewer companies are asking their legal chiefs to also shoulder ethics and compliance oversight responsibilities.

According to a report that Ethisphere released Tuesday, only 22% of the businesses on the “Most Ethical” list had GCs who also served as ethics and compliance chiefs. Last year, 26% of the companies on the list reported having dual GC-compliance chiefs.
