A federal judge has sentenced Brooke Campbell Solis, the former general counsel of Good Money, for embezzling $500,000 from the San Francisco-based fintech startup.

Solis was arraigned in September 2020 on charges that she diverted funds from her employer to a shell company named The Paralegal Group LLC and other entities controlled by her and her husband. She was also accused of using her “super administrative privileges” to improperly reimburse herself for personal expenses, including $4,575 in dog boarding in July 2019.
