The Association of Corporate Counsel’s 2022 Chief Legal Officers Survey released last month found that data privacy, security and compliance have become top concerns of legal chiefs.

To address the evolving risk landscape, companies, especially in the data-heavy realm of health care, should consider adjusting the boundaries of the legal department and rethink job descriptions within it to combat the risk of having silos that hamper decision-making, legal operations experts say.
