The Juneteenth Foundation has named Karim Marshall as the nonprofit group's first ever general counsel.
Marshall joined the foundation in his first GC role after having spent the majority of his career working for the Government of the District of Columbia, most recently as senior development manager. He also served as equitable development manager, assistant GC, environmental justice coordinator and legislative director.
