Japan-Based Global Engineering Company Taps McKinsey Lawyer as GC
Satoshi Kurata, who worked for JGC Holdings in the United States before departing in 2000, now is returning to be general counsel.

Global engineering company JGC Holdings Corp. has tapped one of its former in-house lawyers as its new legal chief.
Satoshi Kurata—who most recently was working for the consulting firm McKinsey & Co.—will be JGC's new general counsel as well as an executive officer, according to a list of company leaders and a LinkedIn post the attorney published Friday.
In response to a comment on the LinkedIn post, Kurata said he is in Yokohama, Japan, where JGC is headquartered.
