The National Basketball Players Association has promoted Ronald Klempner, its senior counsel for collective bargaining, to general counsel.
The move comes as the league and players gear up to negotiate a new collective bargaining agreement. It is scheduled to expire after the 2023-2024 season, but both sides have the option of terminating it this December.
