Amazon.com Inc. legal chief David Zapolsky’s total compensation dipped dramatically last year, following his more than $17 million haul in 2020. 

Zapolsky’s comp for 2021 totaled a relatively modest $163,200, according to a proxy statement Amazon filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. His $160,000 annual salary and $3,200 in 401(k) contributions from Amazon remained unchanged from the prior year.
