Reich & Tang Deposit Networks has named a new legal chief as the New York-based financial services company prepares to finalize a merger with Total Bank Solutions. The combined companies will oversee more than $220 billion of assets.

Sabra Baum is taking up the reins of R&T’s legal department as general counsel and executive vice president after having most recently served as head of the global legal team for Wolters Kluwer’s tax and accounting division.
