After working for more than a decade at law firms and corporate legal departments, Brandon Wiebe is settling into his first general counsel role as the first-ever legal chief for tech startup Transcend. 

The San Francisco-based company launched in 2017 and offers a data privacy and compliance program platform for corporate legal, engineering and data governance teams. Its clients include financial services firm Robinhood Markets Inc., crowdfunding platform Patreon and social audio app Clubhouse.
