Shopify Inc.'s associate general counsel and corporate secretary has split with the e-commerce company and joined 1Password as the security and privacy tech firm's first-ever chief legal officer.
Erin Zipes is expected to help Toronto-based 1Password "scale to meet demand for its security solutions," which will include working with the company's executive team and expanding its legal department, according to a Thursday announcement.
