Employees who say they span “the spectra of gender, ethnicity, seniority, and technical roles” have written an open letter to SpaceX executives calling for action regarding founder and CEO Elon Musk’s recent antics, which they called “a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment for us.”

The open letter, first reported by The Verge on Thursday, asks executives to publicly condemn Musk’s recent statements on Twitter, explicitly separate SpaceX from the CEO’s personal brand, and establish protocols for reporting and dealing with inappropriate behavior by executives and employees.
