The Las Vegas Raiders general counsel Kevin Manara has left the organization after 10 months on the job and amid leadership changes.

Manara joined the Raiders in September 2021 and departs three weeks after Sandra Douglass Morgan was hired to replace former general counsel-turned-president Dan Ventrelle.

Ventrelle was promoted to president last July after spending 17 years as the Raiders' legal chief. He succeeded Marc Badain who resigned after eight years with the organization. Ventrelle was ousted from the team in May, and he told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he lost his job after reporting employee concerns that the team has a hostile work environment. He previously served as outside counsel for the team.

In an internal email, Douglass Morgan said that as she begins her tenure as president, both she and Manara have mutually agreed that a fresh start makes sense for them both.

Manara and the Raiders were not immediately available for comments.

Prior to joining the Raiders, Manara worked for the NFL for more than 13 years as a senior attorney for the league's Management Council, most recently as vice president of labor relations and policy. He was a key member in negotiations that resulted in the NFL's 2011 and 2020 collective bargaining agreements.

The Raiders, who are three-time Super Bowl winners, were one of the original teams of the American Football League.
