In-house legal chief hiring hasn’t slumped in the world of higher education, which has seen the appointments of at least three new top lawyers in recent weeks. 

In the latest hire, the University of Vermont announced Monday that it had tapped Purdue University ex-deputy general counsel and chief privacy officer Trenten Klingerman to serve as GC and VP of legal affairs. He succeeds interim GC John Collins.
