PCF Insurance Services, one of the largest business insurance brokers in the United States, has hired former Adobe lawyer Kenton Walker as vice president of legal.

Walker spent the last nine years as director and associate general counsel at Adobe. He has 15 years of experience in corporate law, risk management, mergers and acquisitions and related fields.

"PCF's strategic growth trajectory and unlimited potential for future expansion makes it an exciting time to join the business," Walker said in a statement.

Business Insurance last month ranked Lehi, Utah-based PCF Insurance 20th on its list of largest U.S. insurance brokers ranked by revenue. The company moved up seven slots from the ranking a year ago.

The company said Walker's M&A expertise will be crucial in his new role. PCF has completed more than 100 acquisitions in the last three years and said it anticipates completing more than 100 more this year.

Before Adobe, Walker spent six years in private practice at Boise, Idaho-based Givens Pursley and Chicago-based Kirkland & Ellis. Previous to that, he spent two years as a financial reporting analyst at Norsk Hydro ASA in Norway.
