Vice Media’s chief legal officer, Lucinda Treat, is moving to Crooked Media to serve as the Los Angeles-based company’s first CEO, adding to the list of general counsel who have transitioned to the top job.

Treat is relocating this weekend from New York to California to begin her new role at Crooked, which recently secured backing from billionaire George Soros’ investment firm Soros Fund Management, according to a report from Variety
