Information technology consulting giant Accenture has named longtime company lawyer Andrew J.P. Levy to the newly created position of chief corporate and government affairs officer.

Levy has been with Dublin, Ireland-based Accenture nearly 11 years, rising through the ranks to become general counsel of growth markets, a post based in Hong Kong and Singapore. The role put him in charge of 1,500 legal professionals across 18 countries.
