Zoom general counsel Jeff True and his leadership team view happiness and care is the core of the department. It's a culture the company says starts from the top with True.
Since leaving Palo Alto Networks in two years ago to join Zoom, True has met every employee and new hire, typically within two weeks of their start date.
True jumped aboard the San Jose, California-based communications technology company in June 2020, in the thick of the COVID-19 pandemic—which was fueling explosive company growth. He went to work right away, growing the legal department from 25 to more than 100 attorneys, placing emphasis on subject matter experts.
